UPDATE #1: I want to update this post. Tim, a Manager, from Stanley phone me this afternoon to let me know that he wanted me to become a happy customer. Later, I explained that his service supplier piled all around my bed, and also the items underneath my mattress, billed me an outrageous cost and that they were running a promotion for servicing a house/yard much bigger than mine for $135, he offered me support for 1/2 of what I had been charged ($485), read this article but would not honor the promotion.
I think Tim felt great about his offer. I clearly didn't, and remain an unhappy client. I told Tim when my employees treated people and supplied service the way Stanley had done, I'd have given my services away for free and done anything necessary to correct the problem. .
UPDATE #2: Another upgrade. . .Tim only called back and said he felt bad about the way I'd been treated all day and wanted to honor the promotion price for $135. It's actually kind of Tim to reconsider. I hope Stanley invests in training its staff on client service and being good citizens.
